    A story :

Back some years ago I was fishing at Beaver Lake on a hot summer day-The fish were being very moody-I was fishing a slider on 6 lb line got on a point i could feel the fish messing with it' but would not take it-about 18 ft down.So i gave up went back to the dock -Told Paul Tackett the guy that run the dock then he said -uh just some bluegill messing with you-i said no way its Bass-Then i got pissed off in a good way-I looked at him and said give me some nightcrawlers-I will be back shortley back to that point i went took off the 4 inch slider worm and slid on a nightcrawler bam first hit nice keeper went on to catch 7 more keepers-45 minutes i stoped fire up the ten horse-Went back to the dock pulled out the boat-Went in an got Paul hEY dAMIT come look in the livewell-Showed him 8 nice bass then i returned them to the lake-Got a big UM look from him -then i gave him back the crawlers i had left and went home-That was the last time i ever fished with live bait for Bass that i can recall---GL to us all

Maybe some crawler scent or Red Man juice would have helped.

    GW,
You been fishing? How's the pet fish doing?
Watched my daughter catch several bass while fishing for panfish using worms. Those Bass would not let go once they zeroed in on the worm.

What do you mean your in shock for George uses live bait? That day he took Chunk and myself on our guided tour of CC, all he had in his boat was 2 dozen minnows, 2 boxes of nightcrawlers, a pound of shiners and 2 Snoopy rods.
