I'm sure they meant world record for a blue catfish...currently 124 #(?) from Mississippi River.

Yea I made a post about it, that was really a neat deal. Pig after Pig and I loved that observer and weighing in the boat stuff, now that's the future of the sport in my opinion. I don't need to see a guy run all over the stage swinging a bass around like luggage to enjoy the tourney. This will insure a way better mortality rate to professional fishing.

i seen a blue cat that was caught and they had it mounted on the wall at a restaurant on the santee river in monks corner south carolina.... it weighed 109 lbs and it was a monster...... they had a pic of the man who caught it and he caught it on a zebco 33.....

It seem's that Team Cress has made it to a entry in the Cabelas King Kat classic this Sept. in Henderson Ky. Guy's it takes a lot of work and prep. to catch those big blue's and Flatheads. The son "Lowerider" has taught me much about catching trophy cats. I predict it will take over 225# with 5 fish to win this tourn. I think I'll leave the 303 home
