Gamakatsu's are as strong a hook as you can buy, IMHO. But if you want some other brand, any good bait/tackle shop should have a variety. If you're looking for recommendations on where to shop, you might want to mention where you're located.

I have been throwing alot of grubs this spring. I have been using some jig heads with Gamakatsu hooks I got from Wal-Mart. They have been decent but not great. I am ready to buy some more and could use some help in finding some that are well made and have strong hooks.
Where can I find some good lead head jigs for curly-tailed grub fishing?
Thanks,
John

If you go to the website of efish911.com they sell jigheads with mustad hooks which is a very good hook.
