    Hey Elnut

    Re: Hey Elnut

We have not fished the tournament yet...we do that next Saturday. Hopefully we will win it so we can give the money to the trooper island kids camp....never know about tournaments...sometimes you do well and sometimes you don't....my client had about 17-18 lbs today doing a tourney prep for his tourney this week so if we can do that this weekend I will be happy.

    Re: Hey Elnut

I believe Dave said it was a 6 fish limit tourney. With 6 fish, I predict a nice round figure of say 50.00lbs. I know it sounds like a lot but this is ONLY a 8.3333333333333 with a repeating 3 pound average per 6 fish. It can happen. If you don't have goals and DREAMS in life then what do you have?

Hey Kevin, save me some of those Last Cast Finesse jigs. I will be down Thursday to fish with Mickey and into the Headquarters that afternoon. Bringing 2 different fellas money plus my own to buy many. Hopefully you will get a shipment in by then. Send me a PM if they come in before and I will tell you what I will get on Thursday. Thanks Elnut and it does stink to cull 7 pounders, since I never caught a 7lb Greenfish EVER, it would mean that either Dave had one hell of a day or maybe just maybe I snuck a giant into the sack. Either way, I have been studying up on my netting techniques.

    Re: Hey Elnut

I stopped by the cabin today to find "the good" colors of the last cast jigs - it seems they have all been gobbled up at fishermans hq and the cabin - I guess I did clear the shelf of the GP. I will be the HQ the next two afternoons, he said there was a bunch of boxes to unload - hopefully one of them will have the last cast jigs in it. PM me your number and if they get some in, I will call to see what you want and put them in a bag to hold for you.

Remeber, put the net in the water, and let Dave bring the fish to you - don't scoop at it!!! LOL I have never officially hit the 7# mark. I weighed in a 6.5 last week. I caught one last fall that would have been close, but didn't weigh it. I guess since I am telling the story now, I should just bump it up to 8.

THE CHAMP IS DOWN! THE CHAMP IS DOWN!!! 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 THE CHAMP IS DOWN? THE CHAMP IS DOWN?????? What is this, the CHAMP is getting up off the canvas, staggering to his feet, THE CHAMP IS UP! THE CHAMP IS UP!!!!!! He is now reaching into his rod locker and pulling out his SECRET WEAPON, no it is not a G Loomis, no it is not a St. Croix, it is WHAT? A 10' All Pro Float and Fly Rod???? Are you kidding me, fully rigged up with a 3 way swivel, 10' leader of some treadlike material and OH MY GOSH - A homeade ElNUT SPECIAL BOBBER, NOT THE ELNUT SPECIAL BOBBER. He is into his backswing PLOP, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ SMACK a direct hit, a direct hit THAT ELNUT SPECIAL BOBBER SCORED A DIRECT HIT right sqaure in between the eyes of the BUZZER. BUZZKING IS DOWN!! BUZZKING IS DOWN!!!! 1-2-3-4-5-6-7- forget about it THE BUZZKING IS DEAD. In his best DAVEWOOD voice or is it DEADWOOD voice (for example see Greg Hackney speaking on Mark Zona's WGFS in El Salto), "The Buzzer is dead, sorry that we had to perform this cruel and unusual act but he was speaking smack on fishin.com and THE CHAMP just could not take it anymore so he sent in his enforcer. The enforcer is very sorry about his actions but he just had to protect THE CHAMP." What is this, the Buzzking's Cavewoman has just showed up at the weigh-in and boy she is crying something horrible. No it is not tears of sadness they are tears of joy. She is standing over her fallen Buzzer and reaches down and grabs him by his head of hair and wait, she is now dragging his limp body out of the weigh-in location back to their Cave never to be seen again. (This is the part where TAPS is being played in the background but I can't type this effect) See you Friday night Buzzking and look forward to meeting you in person. Elnut
