May 19th will be the full moon and fish will be spawning. You should find the majority of fish either spawning or in post spawn patterns. Some will be shallow, some will be on the lead in / lead out banks, main and secondary points and ledges. Pretty much fish will still be everywhere moving out if they spawned and moving in if not. Jigs and Crankbaits are what I hear are the hot items. Green pumpkin jigs, brown jigs, texas rigged lizards, and crankbaits in your favorite spring color - Chartr and Blue for me. My guess would be to start in the back near spawning grounds and move out toward the points, humps and ledges accordingly and fish wherever you catch the best concentration of fish. Good Luck
if you can find rip rap around a spawning area definately hit it...they like to roam rip rap looking for food especially at night...throw a short arm black and blue single colorado blade spinnerbait with a chunk on it and hang on...my biggest fish ever which came from down there came on this
Try the front 2/3rds of the bays. Like Elwood said on the colors, jigs in grn pumpkin and watermelon, Zoom trick worms and baby brush hogs on a t-rig and/or c-rig. White, chart spinnerbaits and cranlbaits in crawfish and chart/blue.
Be sure to check out Dave Stewarts fishing report here on Fri morning as he has the most recent and up to date report in the area.
thanks everyone for the info,
