But to put the oil companies under government control, which is what many of you want will be an absolute disaster. BTW, you'd be surprised in how many of you have ownership in oil companies. Check out your 401k plan and get back to us on that.
My 401K has alot of oil stuff, dang brother I ain't stupid, lol. But I'm still taking it in the rear. I think this supply and demand thing is being VASTLY overplayed and it has become the blanket automatic response to the incredible spikes at the pump. Trust me if I would have been President, they would have already Impeached me because I would have made a big Sand Dune out of Iraq, Iran, and most likely Afghanistan and we'd have so much oil we'd be like Jed Clampett. This country is now full of panty waste Pu$$--- that cry about everytime somebody crushes an earthworm. Remember the Alaskan Pipe line, it was going to stop and desimate the Caribou population. Now they are there in record numbers and the Cows take the young there to stay warm during the harshes times of winter. My point in all this is there are truths on both sides of the fence. The big three can make cars and trucks that get 50 miles to the gallon, I'd bet my left one on it. Why don't they you ask......... because big Oil won't let'em. When you make 14 BILLION dollars in a quater while the country is basically going bankrupt you have got some serios MOJO baby and those Tenticles reach far and wide in this country beleive it. If any of you think there is NO price gouging or deliberate attempts to make more money on this delimena we are presently in then you are incredible Nieve. Top Ceo's at big oil are making 500 million dollars a year, unless you have a magic wand and can cure cancer with a single wave of it or solve world hunger with another wave of it, guess what they aren't worth one tenth of that, it's a freaking joke. Forget the government stepping in, at what point do those greedy ******** hold a meeting and decide maybe they are getting just a little too much of the pie and have some SELF accountability.
