in my prayers!!
For those of you that don't know Steve, I'll tell you a little that I know about him. I met him last April when fisheater, onemorecast56, Steve, & I went to Dale for an extended weekend for the guys just to get away and do some fishing. He is one of the most polite men I know. Not rude in anyway. We would go in & eat lunch or supper, & he would want to stay at the cabin in the evenings & just relax, we would come in, with our fish stories (of course), and instead of sitting around relaxing, like he said he was going to do. He would have the cabin all straightened up, & all of the dishes done. Not expected to, no one that weekend was expected to do anything but have fun, & eat alot, that was the two things we did do. (Although John lost the fish of the trip, but I don't remind him of that much.)
When John called me yestarday and told me, I was hurt. I haven't got to see Steve as much as John has since that trip, due to an illness in my family since then. I have talked to him a few times on the phone though. Now that all is better with my wife I am planning on going down there to visit him more often.
Of course I am going to put him & his family on the prayer list at church.
That disease also took my mother, we will keep him and his friends and family in our prayers. God Bless
I met Steve a few years ago when he posted on here and needed someone to take him fishing. I took him to Rough River for a day and had a great day with a great person. Steve cut his finger open that morning while we were hooking up my boat and he bled pretty god most of the day. I was a little worried about him but, he never complained just kept fishing and telling stories. I wish I lived a little closer so I could have maintained a better friendship with him. He and his wife are very good people. They will both be in my prayers as will all his friends and family. I am blessed to have met hi even if was only for a day.
