    Anyone ever have this happen

I made the most stupidest dumb mistake ive ever made fishing the other day.I had 4 fish in the BFL on Barren River and went gotem out of the livewell and put em in a weigh bag.Took em tothe holding tanks were you stand before you weigh in and there filled with rejuvenaded water. So i didnt have enough water in my bag so i dunked my bag in the water a little to get some.Well i got up to the fish measuring guy and poured em out and noticed i only had 3 fish! Apparently when i got water in one of the holding tanks he had slipped out on me.He was a slot fish and not one of my bigger ones but still it costed me some money and points that would have probably put me in the top five in points and check wise. How stupid i felt

man I've seen that happen on the stren series. Why didn't you go get it out of the tank?
    did they not let you?

Hasn't happen to me yet but I did drop our big fish out of the boat and onto the pavement. Scales were everywhere. And guess what, we missed third by .02 lbs. One could only wonder, .02 is not very much. LOL

Never had that happen but,....A day I was getting fish out of the livewell for the weigh in. I had 3 keepers and as I was trying to bag them, one somehow managed to jump out of the livewell, clear the edge of the boat and land safely back in the lake. It was on Beaver Lake and needless to say a keeper is very hard to find and having 3 was great and almost a definate win. Well I finished 3rd with a 1 pound margin to 1st. Now I either trailor the boat or keep the lids down on top of my arms while getting them out. That was a stupid mistake that I'll only make one time.

Yeah I have had fish jump out of a weigh in bag and out of the livewell back into the lake! I hate messing with my fish when I'm in the water...I'm careful but mistakes happen.
