Caught them on thundersticks, live pointers, Gizz 4 and on a rico. My buddy had a hook with a split shot and when we would snag a shad he would let it drift, this netted our biggest walleye and the 2 catfish. Most of our fish came off moonlite banks.....but only in certain parts. We found the pattern like i said about 2:30 and ran it in 3 different spots......
Not rying to be a jerk here but unless you had three people in your boat 6 stripers were illegal. Two per day per fisherman, just pointing this out as you may be unaware. You were also one too many on the Eyes to. Six per day per fisherman.

Sorry Thunderstorm, but that "Have to work!" comment made me LMAO. If you were any good, you could fish and 7.5.

I put that in here just for your enjoyment. I've gotten pretty good lately, but I like to save time for a two hour nap/day.

Which general area of the lake you were fishing?
The lower, middle or upper end?
The reason i ask is because this lake can be so different just from one end to the other end of it and can change from night to night.
You can almost draw a line across the lake at cumberland point and what happens east of that may be completely different than what happens west of it. We went the 12th on the lower end and had no shad or fish activity to speak of all night but i heard on the other end it was great that night, go figure! Also, was there much shad activity where you caught the walleye?

    Re: Full Moon/Lake Cumberland

I think this weekends woes were related to the cold rain earlier in the week, along with a mostly north wind, as well as a bright moon all night.
