The game warden told me last week that he would not write you a ticket as long as you were going slow. He said that if he did write a ticket that it would be thrown out in court, so why write one. I do know however that he did issue a ticket to a guy who he said was going to fast, so I am assuming anything over idle is to fast. How many game wardens they have that work that lake and if they all feel like the one I talked to I have no idea.

I wonder if the official will put his name on that statement? I would ask him that and get the info so as I use my motor properly I would feel better.

I believe Wormin was just trying to keep it civil. The rules and the enforcement of those rules is way off.

Kentucky fishing and boating guide march 08- thru Feb 09 page 37. "10 hp. or slow speeds which cause no disturbance or interference with fishing are required on: Beaver Lake, and they go on to list about 10 others. If you had this book and were doing just that I don't see how they could give you a ticket? I guess it would be your word against his and he would win. Good luck.

Sign at ramp clearly states the laws. It's posted right at the waters edge. Your word against that sign with the misprinted regulations and you don't stand a chance.
