    Re: McClellan's new book

I read some of the comments on line by an independant news group and he is slamming some important people aside from the Pres. and V.P. including Colin Powell. It's another Conspiracy story according to the talk shows I listen to on the radio, Hannity and Rush (uneducated guess on my part since I did not read the book) Sounds like he had gone to the dark side and is bitter about it. Lol!!
It's old news and does anyone know...is Mr. McClellan a Democrat now? Still a Republican? Just curious.

FYI....according to the Democrat Congress gas would be cheaper once they had power....what is it now? That kool aid isn't as sweet is it? But there are some people who believe everything that they say they will fix. Consider the reasons fror gas price increases and then think why would these educated officials tell us that they could do that? How are they going to control OPEC?
Please remind me how Bush and Cheney jacked up the price of oil to get rich? And now has controlled Congress to keep it there? Maybe there was no Conspiracy that Hillary and Nancy and so on and so on stated??

You should change the TV channel and get real news not GOP propaganda from Fox Noise and Russ the Oxycontin Toting Funny man.

Naw...I like to hear the other side of the story. There are always two sides and to stop getting that would be terrible for the country. Actually we need three sides! Just look back at all the Democrat junk that gets thrown around at each election process! Can you imagine if that was the standard? Hanging Chads, unfair counts, confusion over two states, constant damage control over Presidential Candidates no matter who they are, and I mean the stuff they do to themselves. That party has a hard time staying together and it will always be that way so you better hope Hillary is the V.P. nominee or they will lose.

    Re: McClellan's new book

If you really are listening to all sides then I would think that you can see that Fox Noise is far to the right. But it's was setup by the GOP party as a propaganda tool pretending to be a legitimate news outlet.

You don't take the former GOP Chairman and let him setup an entire TV Cable Station which preaches 99% right wing propaganda.

Sorry but OReily is the biggest boob in the world. I would not give you two cents for that guy. And Rush, G Gordon are in the same boat as O'Reily and Hannity.

I can't watch a TV station that caters to the likes of Ann Coulter! Sorry

I'll watch CSPAN, CNN, MSNBC and PBS and will boycott Fox Noise.

Hanging chad was not something invented by the Dems. In fact those stupid voting machines that resulted in hanging chads were most likely made by a republican owned company.

I had to deal with hanging chads when they used those punch cards for our final examines in college. And when I used computer punch cards in my Computer Programming Class I had to deal with hanging chads.

The most important thing that we can do as US Citizens is to vote. And we are forced to vote all in one 12 hour period only once every 2 years. You would think that our government would speed the money to make voting machines better and that we could have more than just 12 hours to cast our votes. Voting for President should not be limited to one day every 4 years. We should be allowed to vote over a period of several days. And it should be a holiday for everyone to stop working and go vote. After all it's our civic duty to vote.

These past years we have a very small portion of the population actually voting and choosing our president. The current rules are designed to prevent most folks from casting a vote. That's going to change.

Well it was only a matter of time before someone found out about this.

<cue creepy background music - if it helps, imagine this read by that guy who narrates all those stories on Frontline>

Fifteen to 20 years before the 2000 Presidential election, a bunch of Republican fat cats huddled in a dark smoke-filled room to hatch a devious plan. Their scheme: manufacture punch-card machines and sell them to the State of Florida.

Now, these guys were not only evil, and Republican, they were engineering and software geniuses. They built the machines to work for years at a reliability level acceptable to Florida voting officials--but that was only a devious effort to conceal their TRUE PURPOSE, which would come in 2000.

These evil/Republican/geniuses pre-programmed the machines to malfunction--for Democratic votes only--during the 2000 Presidential election, which they somehow knew would be decided by a handful of Florida votes.

To recap: they were evil, Republican, engineering/software geniuses WHO KNEW THE FUTURE. Tell me you're not scared NOW, Mr. Blue Collar voter.

Moose, now that you've uncovered this, you should so TOTALLY go on Larry King.

    Re: McClellan's new book

Boycott those biased FOX News right wingers and watch the totally unbiased 'reporting' on CNN, MSNBC, and PBS. Moose, you just rendered any remnants of your credibility null and void. Bet you get even more of the gospel from those straight shooters at move on dot org.

I dare anyone to watch cspan for 1 hour and stay awake. Ain't happening. Drink an entire pot of coffee, hammer bottles of energy supplements, take a handfull of diet pills..whatever you want. Inside of an hour watching cspan and you're out like a light.

I watched the O'Reilly interview and it was pretty compelling. McLellan handled himself pretty well. I admit I haven't read the book, and have no intention of doing so. Might read the synopsis a couple of months from now when I spot it on the 2 dollar table at Half Price Books.

    Re: McClellan's new book

Thank god my credibility is not dependent on what a guy who goes by the name Devils Horse has to say on the Internet. You see my credibility is intact and nothing a right winger says about me matters much.

PBS, CNN, and even MSNBC beat fox noise up one side and down the other.

Fox Noise is just a political propaganda station that should not even be allowed a broadcast license.

CSPAN is live and real unlike Fox Noise.

You want to watch entertaining TV watch Tool Time or NFL Football .

Today Tim Russert Died of an apparent heart attack. All the broadcasters have been signing his praise. He was the New Director at MSNBC.

If Rupert were to die suddenly I doubt that people would sing his praise all day long. He might get a small space for his obituary in the right wing local papers. Rupert is a dirty politician not a journalist. His right wing slant is very heavy.

While Tim was a trained lawyer and had worked for some democrats in the past you could not see any slant when he interviews people on Meet the Press. He was fair to both sides. He asked the tough questions but was always fair and balanced in his approach.

I can tell you this, People that only listen to Fox Noise are not getting the truth. They are getting unfair and unbalance political propaganda 24/7

O'Reilly is a pompous idiot. He is more opinionated than anyone else on TV except maybe Hannity.

If I know that you only watch Fox Noise it really lowers my opinion of you to the lowest level.

So in reality it's not my character that's amiss it's YOURS Mr. Devil!

    ha ha.

PS: You should have your doctor look into your Narcolepsy.
PSS: Your opinions of me don't really matter to me.

    Moose,
RELAX your taking these discussions way over the top. Talking about Tim Russert's death? Wow! Why would you do that? To get a point across? Dude, there is no need. We all understand your point of view without comparing Tim Russert's death to any other person on the planet....jeez have you no shame?
Just take a breath....... I always liked him myself and so did many other Independants, Republicans and Democrats. His book is on my list of things to read.
It's very sad and at the same time a breath of fresh air to hear of his commitment to his son and father. Man it really makes me happy that I can still tell/show my Dad that I love him. Remember whats important and it ain't your views or my views on politics.

    Re: McClellan's new book

I was comparing Tim and MSNBC to Fox Noise

I use Tim as an example of a good journalist and was showing how he made MSNBC good

I don't know where you get your thoughts but you missed the mark big time

And don't tell me to chill or whatever.

I think Tim was one of the good guys and the discussion was turning to which TV stations were more honest that the others.

You missed the point. Go back and read the post again and maybe you will figure out the basis of the post.

Here the bottom line. When I want advise from you one what to post or how to post I'll let you know in advance.

You accuse me of taking the discussion way over the top? Why because you don't agree with something I said. At least I use facts to back up what I say. Now sit down and stop telling me how to post in here. I don't need your advice PERIOD!

Do I have no shame. What the hell are you talking about. Shut up dude! I said nothing bad about Tim. I used him as an example; of good journalism. If you were walking TV for the last two days you would see that every TV station and News Paper was praising Tim for his good work. I did nothing different.

I did put down Fox Noise and they deserve to be put down. They are more political and always have been that way ever since that Network was formed by an X Chairman of the GOP political party not a journalist.

Perhaps it my criticism of Fox Noise that upset you. Well too bad.
