yes you can sign up the day of starting around 4:30 PM there will be pork chops (1" think) servered at 5pm. You need to be signed up by 6:30by the latest. the $75 entry fee covers the launch fee and the big fish pot.

weather is looking good for the tournament....81 for a high and 63 for a low, i hear the bass jumping already....

I went to Backwaters and pre-registered today, they said that they had 40+ in it already. This seems to be a first class operation. Food before you fish is a plus, I have been known to put away some groceries. Door prises will be given out before the tourney. It's gonna be a good one!

Had 130 boats in the tourney, it took 18 something to win, 17 something for second then dropped to 11 somethnig for third.... great turnout with great weather...

First place was over 18pds, 2 & 3 place had 17pds something, 4th place had 14pds, 5th place had 12pds, 6th place 11.34 7th place 11.22 and thats all I can remember. Paid 19 places with 19th coming in at 8pds something. Fun tourney and ran good until the end, with a little confusion during the pay outs. Other than that, great tourney with a ton of fish caught and weighed in.....
May not be exact with the weights but pretty close.

This thread is from last years tournament. I beleive this years tournament would be on the 27th of june. Still waiting on some fliers out here at the shop, but i know someone will correct me if im wrong and possibly supply more info. You could use the contact number for backwaters in this thead to get all the info.
