    Re: Congrats to Kevin Snider

I don't think a KY angler has won it since Jeff Coble won it back to back on 2000-2001.

Anyway, Best of luck Kevin! Bring it home brotha!

Heck, I hope he atleast gets to fish sunday, that way he might not be at Rough sunday to fish Renegade. The thread on Beachamp and Long being the best team in the state is probably dead on ,but Snider is one of the best in the state.I think him and his partner (Carl Norris) won the Renegade points last year, and they are always a threat to win no matter what lake they are on. I'm probably wrong but isn't Jeff Coble from North Carolina.

He may be from North Carolina, but I think when he won the 2 All Americans he lived in Benton. Not sure though.

I have have also fished with Kevin as a co angler in the LBL division. He kept the boat in position where I was able to catch 14+ lbs. Kevin's biggest strength is his ablility to find fish which I feel is the most important part of fishing tournaments.

    Yes, WAY TO GO KEVIN!!!

Jeff is from NC. There is some deal on the angler profiles on the FLW site that list him and Tony Christian as being from Benton. Tony is from GA.
Both anglers have been banned from FLW compitition. In Jeff's case not for cheating but having a disagreement about wearing a Ranger hat. He is a Triton rep and refused to wear the Ranger gear at the All American. He was told he needed to have a hat so he wore a Duke hat. There was a big story about the reason for him being banned a couple of years ago on BassFan.

As for Tony. There was another story on BassFan and there was an ESPN story back when they had Bass Center. He was banned for allegedly cheating.

I think that the home town default for an inactive angler shows up as Benton since that is the headquarters. I don't know why they just don't delete them off the profiles. If someone works for FLW and knows please chime in.

He didn't quite fair as well today but he made the final 10 and gets to fish tomorrow. If you're fishing on the final day anything can happen.

My Dad finished 11th on the co-angler side. He was beat out by 2 ounces from making the top 10. For everyone that has ever caught a 12 inch bass, 2 ounces *****. I am proud of him to represent the louisville area in the All American. I wish i could have gave him a 12 incher out of the pond. Thought I'd let everyone know. Have a great day fishin!
