Best tip I know is to go during the week if at all possible. Otherwise, you will find it extremely crowded and end up hunting a place to park. Good luck.

If was going on a Sat or Sun I would wait till December.

as warm as it has been i suggest popper,buzzbait,an jigs work good too dont forget ur trail hook for ur buzzbait =-)

December will be prime time for Float n Fly. Nothing like a Wednesday at any lake in December with it being 35 degrees spitting sleet, rain and snow with the sun not poking thru at all during the day. Water temps around 50 degrees, now thats just my game. You gotta dodge the jet skis and water skis but other than that you have the lake pretty much to yourself I mean myself, 6 months and 1 day to go from today YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!

If you didn't go today go on tomorrow. The boat traffic is not as bad as they say if you know how to drive to keep your self out of trouble. The Whole lake is about the same trees. Alot of trees but the trees are visible when driving so you shouldn't have any trouble until you get to the lower end and then you will have to find the holes to get through. I would give you an idea of what bait to use but you probably have already heard everything under the sun to use. So my suggestion is to use you favorite bait and go from there. Good luck.
