I was throwing a worm and fishing underwater "humps". I felt the "bump" and set the hook. My line made a "ting" sound and I knew it was a good fish, the fish started swimming to my left and I thought "man this is a BIG fish". So I decided in that brief 3 second window to set the hook again; I gave the rod a big ol' jerk. What happened next was something I have never had happen...............the dang line broke. I was not around anything to get hung on, the line just broke. I never saw the fish but I have fished HARD for over 25yrs and I know it was a very "GOOD" fish. I was heavy, pulling very hard and swimming fast. I did put a 3.10 and it was a perfect evening to spend on the water.

Oh yeah...going to buy some 40-60lb braid today
