BlueGuill on Barren

Family fishing at Barren this weekend 6/6/08. Anyone know how the Blueguill are and any tips for where?

I had some buddies that had a mess of BIG bluegill last weekend out of the big cove down next to the dam. Don't know alot about Barrren, so i don't know what the bay is called, but it is on the same side as the Marina down there.

Go find some rock around one of the bridges and fish for some cats...they have been tearing it up here latlely...Good luck.....

Go up on thew banks and pick you some cicadas off the trees, they are thick. Put on a hook and you will have a bluegill or a bass in about 5 seconds if you are around fish. Did it two weekends ago and lost count. Last week I was at Ky Lake and didn't hear any at all.

Cicadas...very nice.
