That is right. They never expire, but when you get $10 worth they will take the points off of your account and send you a coupon. They said they are trying to help people remember they have the points and get customers to spend them in their store. You can call them and ask them to not do this to your account and let your points keep accumulating. I let mine get up to $50 + before I use them.
It's a confusing rewards program (obviously). I'm pretty sure the points do expire, but only after a fairly long period of inactivity on the account. And "activity" means anything that changes your point total, so even buying something and accumulating a few more points counts as "activity" and resets the clock. And when they send you those $10 "gift cards," those points are still on the account. Those are just reminders, because I guess they like it when you use the points as soon as you get 'em.
Correct. Pretty sure you have to have some activity within a years time frame. It's a confusing rewards program (obviously). I'm not sure this is correct. If you call the BPS rewards # they can give you the correct answer. It might depend upon how you handle your points, again not sure. Unless they changed it in the last year, you have to use your points within a year or you loss them, at least that is how mine is setup. It's kinda like my secret hunting/fishing fund, lol. That is right. They never expire, but when you get $10 worth they will take the points off of your account and send you a coupon. If you call basspro and request they let them role and stop sending the $10.00 certificate they will. You have to use your card at least once a year for them to roll over, even if you go in there and just buy a coke. I know I let mine roll and just used $2,300.00 worth of points. Now i have all new rods and reels.
I don't know about the points on the site, but once they send you a certificate they will expire. I have a certificate in front of me from 4/26/08 and it expires 7/26/08 and it says on the back that the points expire on the date shown on the certificate.
I got a certificate like the one some of you are talking about. I called BPS about the Certificate and explained I wanted to let my points add up. They made some sort of adjustment to my account and now they add up to as many as I want. Now I can let my points add up to whatever amount I want.
