hey Nick, I think Tracy and I might give it a crack (or you if you want to go)... see if the 5 #ers want to bite still. 6 so far in 3 trips to tville and 2 bigger ones broke off ( bad knot, lesson learned). Went a few weeks ago with Jeff caught 2 over 5 lost a BIG one guess around 8 maybe a little better, should have had her, would have if someone wouldn't have trashed my net on a big whisker fish! Lets give it a whirl, atleast it will be fun.

What is the lake record for largmouth out of Taylorsville anyway? Seems to me that maybe that 8 lber would have been it.

I don't know about that but I think I;ve got em figured out. We'll know now that it's hot. I know where they are in winter and spring, but never fished there in summer atleast we'll have fun. It's my opinion that T-ville is loaded with good fish but you have to think different and out of the box.

I've been saying that for years, couldn't agree with you more. Everyone calls it the dead sea, over fished, ect. but in reallity it is a great fishery with some very nice bass. My biggest from T-ville is 6.4, caught last fall.

    Re: T-ville 3 fish

my old man reminds me all the time that "I hate T-vlle" because the first time I went, I did nothing but whine about going to Rough instead. 5th cast of my first trip was a 6 1/2#. I bought all the non sense of dead sea, no fish, stuff like that but it has quickly left and is my favorite place to fish other than Rough. Hope to go there Weds but the old man wants to try a few spots at Rough that we have never fished. I'm really eager to try it in the summer with all the traffic and whatnot. I THINK my pattern will do o.k. even with all the hoopla around there but if not, atleast I'll be casting and not working!!!
