A lot of those freshly energized voters are this countries best and brightest college graduates. I would think that these highly educated kids may know a thing or two. They maybe only 21 years old but they are highly intelligent and will end up making a pretty good living.
Only time will tell who wins the election this coming November. But the Senate races are going to be just as important as the race for the White House.
Like I have said before one needs a super majority in the US Senate to get new laws passed.
And even if the Dems can pass new legislation they have to get the courts to approve of that new legislation. And Bush and Regan stacked the highest court in the land with GOP conservatives that can rewrite the laws that congress passes. What is the term that many GOP people called the lower court justices when they didn't agree with the GOP side. The GOP accused them as being Activist judges or something to that effect. But it not for activist justices on the US Supreme Court Bush would have never been appointed to the Presidency.
