    Mop Jigs

    i was thinking about picking up some after i seen some of the guys on the tour doing good with them...they just look like something different and i think they could do some good on some lakes around here...has anyone tried em

    They seem to work good. I use them with a Big Salty Chuck and hop them about a foot off the bottom to get that big profile moving. When they hit bottom and that big skirt spreads out is when the fish seem to nail it.

    I know this isn't what your talking about but a couple years ago I rented a cabin next to some f&g officers and one was catching gar on a piece of mop with no hook. The gars teeth would get tangled in the mop strings. Pretty neat.
