You are staying in a good area to run up or down the lake toward the dam. Seems like the bite is good one day up and then will change the next. Try BIG hurricane creek half way back with the pockets and points on the left side, or mine lick creek around the cut-through and dry fork creek where the pump house is has been good to me this spring. Chunk rock banks and around the ends of laydowns was producing. If you go down the best two creeks on the lower end has to be Holmes and Indian especially. Long tapering rock points on the main creek of Indian and small pockets half way back in there, as well as around laydowns. Go with Spinnerbait and maybe a pop-r or minnow top water bait early in the morning before it gets hot and then go with a carolina rig or texas rig in soft plastics up in the day. A jig will usually get you a bite as well. A small 4-6 inch lizard or a small finess worm on a shakey head has been producing in past weeks. Think green as far as color goes in watermellon, watermellon/red, cheery seed, or junebug is the primary colors of the lake usually as a rule of thumb. If you hit it at night a BIG long arm spinnerbait with a BIG single colorado blade in black and some red or a 1/4 oz. black hair jig and matching trailer will uaually get the job done. Good luck and be safe.....283
