An occasional brown, but nothing consistent. My best success is fishing @ night with short arm, single blade, spinnerbaits, tipped with a josh pork rind, slow rolled over main lake points. If you can find grass, you will find success there as well and can also pick up some large mouths. Colors I have the most success with are black with any combination a few stands in red, chartruese, or purple. I coordinate with the pork rind. There are times that a chartruese, brown or white one is the trick. I also have success with a hair jig in brown, black, watermelon/olive, purple, chartruese or white. But predominatly the brown, black and watermelon. I trim the hair to about a 1/4 inch from the hook and dress it with a josh rind. I also have found, for me, that I have better hook up rate when I also trim some of the rind off on the underside of the rind @ the preset opening for the hook. Again, I fish the jig typically on the main lake points. Hope this is helpful!
