Speaking of a koolaid drinker....aren't you the same guy that posted not long ago you listened to rush(drug addict & chickenhawk) hannity(another chickenhawk) and bill oliar(probably a chickenhawk as well)? Listening to that threesome would make you a koolaid "guzzler" fer sure. I can think for myself just fine ya ought to try it sometime and quit listening to the trash you do. And calling them trash is a compliment coming from me.

I did google it and it means nothing to me. It's just name calling. Bill Clinton wasn't perfect and they even labeled him as a "draft dodger". Does that matter? I bet you could find alot of people in Congress who voted for the war that fall into your "chickenhawk" name calling game. Do you think that's possible?

Only ONE CHICKENHAWK gave the order to go to war. G. W. Bush! Bush had the final say. Afterall he was appointed to the Commander and Chiefs Office.
He made the call now HE has to live with it. That's why the fomer COC use to say. "The Buck stops here".

Now you want to blame congress for a decision that was Bush's to ultimately make? He made the decision so now he has to take the critism for his decision.

Those others you call "ChickenHawks" were not the ones cherry picking the intelligence to get what they wanted ... WAR with SADDAM! That's a huge difference.

Lots of people were being deceived into thinking that Saddam was developing a nuclear bomb. Remember Five Deferment D_I_C_K Cheney going on Meet the Press and using words like "Mushroom Clouds". <---- jcd you might want to google the meaning of that term and stop asking me to do your reseach for you.

I was responding to the multiple people being called that name. With those names being thrown out there and not just one name, I merely decided to point out that there are more than the ones you chose to expose.
I disagree, anyone who voted to go to war is responsible because they made the decision based upon the intelligence.

I have a question....was the intelligence that made all the politicians who voted yes to the war the same intelligence that the adminstration received? I mean uncut raw data with noone claiming Bush/Cheney chose what these politicians could see or not see? If they had the same exact data then how can you single out one man? It's an honest question. If they decided to tell the public snipits of info that's one thing but my question is what about the politicians? Surely they had access to the same info. Right?

That's not the right question to ask my friend. What you should ask is this. Did the adm share all the intelligent with the congress and that would be a big FAT NO!

You see if the congress were to be made aware of what the CIA was telling Cheney they would not have voted to give Bush the permission to carry the big stick.

Just because the deceived congress voted to grant the President to carry that big stick didn't mean they wanted him to actually use it. Diplomacy only works when the treat of war is put in the enemies face. But I doubt that the Dems actually thought Bush would start a war unilaterally. But he sure fooled everyone. They made a mistake in believing anything that this adm said. Never before has the Congress been play and lied to so much.

Yes it's a very good question. But the answer is no the intelligence was cherry picked and not all the facts were given to the Congressional democrats. That's why people are so upset with Bush/Cheney.

Do you understand what the term "cherry picking" means? The yellow cake rumors were discounted by the former ambassador to the African Country that was rumored to be selling yellow cake to Iraq. Joe went the the African County and found out that no yellow cake was sold to Iraq. That was a bad lie. But for his efforts Cheney outed a undercover CIA intelligence Agent Valerie Plume and blew her cover. It was her job to find out what other countries were doing with nuclear weapons. Not only did her cover get blown but those that had worked in her group gathering Intel about other countries nuclear weapons were endangered. For the VP or the Pres to expose our CIA agents who were risking their lives is beyond a disgrace. That to me is a more impeachable offense that kissing some girl in the white house. Like the saying " Monica lied but nobody dies. That can't be said about the CIA cover blowing scheme that most likely was hatched by Cheney though Scooter Libby. That's just one of the many dirty tricks that Cheney was behind IMHO.

And Cheney is still not out of the woods on that scandal.

No that's wrong. They did not tell the truth and they did not release the intel that they have. They used selected parts of the intel and left out parts that would have shown that Saddam didn't have any nukes. Don't you recall Cheney going on TV and talking about Mushroom Clouds. Heck he had me wanting to go to war with Iraq when he talked about mushroom clouds and Iraqi missile that may reach the USA. He lied and a lot of people died. And for a Chicken Hawk to pound the war drums like that it was a disgrace IMHO. Maybe if he got inside a Humvee and rode into Baghdad himself I would have had more respect for him.

I just watched the Sept 15th Interview that Cheney did with Tim Russert today. They replayed this today on MSNBC. Back then Cheney was focused on Al Queda. But Bush was eyeballing Iraq at that time according to Scott.
