    stain on boat

How do you get the brown water line stain off your the hull of a white boat?

Have tried numerous products to remove this stain and it won't come off.

I am sure there are some products to go along with this method that would help, but I've always heard if you leave your boat out overnight and scrub it down while the dew is still on it.
    Good luck.

Have you used bass boat saver? It is the best I have used. Keep a bottle in the boat and wipe it down when you come out of the water. A lot easier to wipe it down then than scrub it later.

Bass boat saver is the best stuff. It will clean it up pretty good. However, I have heard if your water line gets too tough for BBS, then the mr. clean magic eraser will take it right off.

Instant Hull Cleaner. Wal Mart has it. 8-9 bucks a bottle. Nasty stuff so be sure you where rubber gloves and use outside. I used it even on my white motor. Winter project with a paint brush. It works as adevrtized. INSTANT

As others have stated, it's best to get the crud off A.S.A.P., in other words somewhere at the top of the ramp after you pull out. Slimey Grimey works good too.

I tried a Mr. Clean eraser yesterday afternoon. it took some of it off but not all of it. I got this stain from Beaver lake 2 days after they sprayed it. I don't know if what they sprayed had anything to do with it or not but it sure is a nasty tough stain.

You may want to try tidy bowl toilet cleaner, it does an awesome job on boat hulls.

There is some stuff called slimey grimey that is the best I have ever used. Get the concentrate and mix with water and spray on and the line will come off when you rinse. The Boating Center in Crestwood has it. I've left my boat in for a week and it has taken off the line scum. Good luck. Bryan
