Go to TVA.com and look under wolf creek in the resevior section. They are running 1 generator most of the time and shutting down towards the middle of the day. I don't think you'll have too much trouble this year.

Are they generating like last year.................NONE, and opening 1 sluise gate for 4 hrs in the morning and 4 hrs in the evening..........
I want to make a canoe trip down there but don't want to get hammered with BIG water.........![]()

Water in = water out. Anyone at the Corp will confirm that last years low water levels in the river were due record low rain fall in the Cumberland Plateau, not the draw down of the lake. Now using the sluice gate late in the Summer rather than a generator was due to the low lake level and the need for a cold water supply for the river. Anyway, they are down to one gen. right now but only mother nature knows what it will be like later this summer.
