Hey I got one of those and wear it when the sun is beaming on me. That rascal works good to. I look goofier than a pet coon but who cares about that as long as it works.

    Re: Skin Cancer Awareness

Yeah I have been fishing in the sun my whole life, I am 24 years old now. I had this spot on my neck for like 3 years and didnt think anything about it, my mom finally talked me into going to the dermatologist, when I did it was a cancer spot, grant it it was a bassel cell which is the mildest form of cancer, but cancer is cancer and it could have grown. so I was 21 when i first noticed it. I am stricken to sunscreen the rest of my life. So if you have any spots, no matter the age, get it checked out.

I was wondering if it was just us middle aged guys who has had some issues with the sun. I guess the Sun doesn't discriminate.

    Re: Skin Cancer Awareness

This is a great topic, as most of us used to running around with no shirt or hat in the summer trying to get that tan. It doesn't pay off when you get middle aged. I have all ready had to place removed that was cancer, one on my scalp and the other on my back. I have to check ups annually now and I keep and I on it myself. My barber Mr. John Cayes in Crestwood told me about my first spot. He is now dead god bless him, he probably save my life. He told me about that he had told one of his other customers that he had a place on his scalp and he never had it checked out and he died from it. It is very serious and just wanted to pass the info on.
