Had a bad night last week, had a great day today. Fished the river out of burkesville, caught at least 15 bows, one was a very good fish, maybe 6lbs +, and a few 15 inchers. Most were caught trolling in skinny water, biggest fish were caught casting jigs, brown and black maribou, soaked with fish gravy or crawdad scent. Saw only one boat, fished 5 hrs.

6lbs? That's nice. I never caught one that big. That's payback for the other trip huh?

sho nuff, the fishing today wasn't as good, didn't catch any trolling, but got a few dinks on the jigs, of course hitting the river at 0945 might have been part of the problem. But tommorow at the crack of dawn or near it, will try again.Hurry up week end the yard needs tending to!
