kentucky lake grass

Hey fellas I here guys talk about fishing the grass on kentucky lake in the summer? My question is where and what kind of grass? Is this shallow grass in the backs of bays that you can see above water or submerged grass/vegatation 20ft under water on some ledge or offshore structure???? If anyone could help that would be great.......

A majority of it on the the LBL side of the lake (south of the 68 bridge) in the bays and any water less than 10 feet. It's not hard to find. And, yes, it does reach the surface. Also, there's plent of shallower water on the main lake where you'll find it.

I saw 3 different kinds of submergent plant life on KY Lake onver the weekend. Some was back in the bays and was in the shallows, while some was on the flats on the main lake in 4-8 foot of water. Pretty cool---love to see this come back.
