Tore them channel cats up!

Brought home 24 channel cats tonight and caught over 20 bluegill , 2 crappie and one huge bass that I turned loose. Didn't have a scale but had a ruler 24 inches and very fat! 4 fingers under the lip. I love a full moon!

Was this on a lake or river?

I tried everything I could to get a channel cat on the river today and didn't get a sniff. I was thinking maybe the river cats are still on nest or maybe I just need a new fishing hole.
