    Depth Finder dilemma

I'm thinking about purchasing a Lowrance 28chd depth finder. My dilemma is that I don't know where to put on my boat. On the console or in front to utilize for trolling?

    Advise?

    Talking Re: Depth Finder dilemma

I personally would put it up front. I run to where I want to fish then drop the trolling motor. That is where I spend most of my time. If you are on a shallow lake you might want to put it in the dash so you can see it while cruising then rotate it around while you are on the trolling motor. Your boat and your decission but thats my .02$

Thumbs up Re: Depth Finder dilemma

Front. It's where you'll be looking at it 90% of the time. Get a cheap one or use your old one on the console for running. Just my $.02

    Good luck!
