been out of town for a week, what is going on at the river? I live in the frankfort pool was just wondering if anybody has been catching any?

I'm leaving for a week myself tomorrow and hate that I'm leaving good fishing waters.

My farther in-law whom I think has picked up fishing at just about everyday has been catching a good keeper or two every other day in the Benson creek area. also heard of luck in feeder.

I went yesterday to the Sulphur Well pool and it was slower than normal. However, I found the 'right' crank bait color for the day and started getting on them about 10am. I caught 4 in a row on that bait before breaking off on one that went at least 4lbs. I dont know how it broke, it must have had a fray in the line or something. But the bass resurfaced after breaking the line and showed me the bait still in his mouth. I wished I could have gotten him to get the bait out and to get a quick pic. However after that happened, I could not buy a strike on the other cranks nor could we get anything going on the plastics and spinnerbaits on timber.

Then the redneck navy shows up and cuts the water all to pieces, it was time to go. But very fun.
