Laurel.... went to high school in London. Laurel always gave me fits even then. Did good on Cumberland back in the day but Laurel was something different. Woods Creek was good to. Happy fishing.

Good luck Ryan, let us know how you did. I'm heading out there around 4 pm tonight and fishing till I get tired. Probably be fishing tubes and deep crankbaits, we'll see. Hopefully most of the boats will be heading home by the time i put in. We may get some storms in this evening though. I'll be putting in at Flatwoods. I'll post results tomorrow, I expect it will be a short post.
    Good fishing!!

Re: Heading to Laurel in the Morning....

I'm with you, fished from about 5pm yesterday till 1am this morning. Nothing. My partner caught about a 2lb walleye on a crankbait at dark and other than a 10inch smallmouth that threw my jig at the boat, we caught nothing. Laurel is the toughest lake I have ever fished. It's unfortunate as i only live 10 minutes away but I usually just load up and go somewhere else because I can catch fish on other lakes. Oh well maybe next time.
