State park area / Jamestown area? Going fishing for the weekend for Bass. Any help. Never fished it during the summer months. Anything would be a help. Thanks in advance for your reply..

Primarily a night bite this time of year. You will get a small window of time in the early a.m and very late evening to catch some on top water baits. At night fish jigs and plastics with a black light, your traditional stuff at night will work. Some like the hair jigs at night at Cumberland over the plastc skirts. Also alot of guys have been catching some nice fish the last few years at night down there with dark colored crankbaits. You may even luck into a striper or a few walleye still doing this as well. I like points at night myself especially the ones that have the main channel swinging near by. Give us a report when you get back I'm about due a night trip to the big C myself here real soon.
