I am a hunter also and have many guns. Last time I read the Constitution's forth amendment is said we have the right to bear arms. I didn't read anything about any exceptions to that part of the Constitution. Only though Judaical Action over the past 200 years has that part of the US Constitution been diluted.

Now as far as I am concerned you can't change the US Constitution though Judicial Action. It's not suppose to work that way.

If someone wants to change a part of the US Constitution then they should get it ratified by the States like they are suppose to. Not by appointing Judges who will change the meaning of words written over 200 years ago.

If people want to regulate Arms then they need to change the US Constitution to get rid of the Fourth amendment before they can regulate arms. Arms being any weapon.

The founding fathers were not just writing the US Constitution for their time but for all times in the future.

Now they could not for see the development of Stinger Missiles or AK47's but they didn't have to.

It's up to the US Citizens (if they wish) to change the Constitution and until that happens we should be free to own and BEAR any arms we want to. Our right to have and to BEAR arms was meant to keep the people safe from an oppressive government. The founding fathers has just freedom themselves from an oppressive government and they knew what that meant. They could never have broken with King George without owning and bearing arms. They knew exactly why they wrote the 4th amendment.

If this government ever gets to the point where it can oppress it's citizens then those citizens have a right to stand up and fight for their god given rights.

I'll stand up for the 4th amendment every time and I am a proud Democrat.

The Best thing that George Washington did was to give up the Presidency after two terms and let someone else serve in that office. He set a precedent on term limits. He did the right thing.
