    River is on part II

    I have been fishing the river at the tyrone end in Anderson county and boy is it good. First off there is a new ramp and parking lott that is paved and is very nice. 2nd the fishing is pretty good, caught an 8lb drum several smaller cats 2lb large mouth and 20+++bass under 12 inches all on top water under the trees were the locaste were falling. water is very clea and clean.     Yes it is . It's owned by the state now and newly redone. It's been open a couple months now and the lot and drive were just paved last week I believe.

    I think you go down 60 and head towards Lawrencburg towards tyrone bridge. You cross the bridge and go to the top of the hill, hang a left towards Wild Turkey or wildcat rd? Should be some signs up but it is down a little ways on the left. It's been a while so anyone else chime in. I hung into a big musky up in Gilberts creek in that stretch years ago. I think I'm going down there myself soon.

    It's 62 from Versailles,cross Tyrone bridge,left at top of the hill at wild turkey distillery. Go to bottom of the hill and there's a bridge just past the quarry and paveing company. The ramp is to the left at the end of the bridge. Been doing good at the river this year and plan to be there Sunday morning. Lots of ky.'s with some nice largemouth and a smallie here and there. Hope this helps.
