i always night fish and i was wondering what everyones favorite brand is... i use the bass pro line i got the 8 and 14lb in the clear and florescent but i think that the 14 likes to stretch to much especially fishing deep water and i have used pline a long time ago. but i like the pline flouroclear i bought some of it in 15 lb and 8 lb the other day.... the 15 done awesome and kinda reminded me of florocarbon but the 8lb broke like 4lb stren.... i was ashamed i broke off tieing on lures.... i just put the poles i put it on up and choked that up as a 8 dollar loss on line..... But back to what i am gettin at is the 15 lb cxx florescent line good.. because i like to fish alot and change line as much as needed and i like buying the big spools because its cheaper and u dont waste as much line.....when i change my line on my baitcasters i leave the spool half full of whatever line i put on there awhile back and then put the new line on i can usually get 3 reels full off one small spool of that florocarbon by pline.....but i like buying in bulk on line so any help would be great....

Fireline, flame green. Shows up great in the blacklight, no stretch, super sensitive, and lasts forever. When I first used it I was skeptical about the visibility, but I've out fished fluorescent mono in the boat multiple times. I know many of the guides use it at Dale Hollow for night time smalljaw fishin, and you know how clear that water is. I would recommend it, especially if you are fishing jigs or weighted plastics.
Fire Line, Flame green x's 2. I don't use anything less than 17 pound test when fishing night or stained water.
I always use p-line,no matter what. I never use more than 12 lb test anytime.
Fireline is the way to go as long you aren't fishing in and around rocks. If you are then I use p-line CXX flourescent. It's co-poly so it's a little more sensitive than mono and the stuff is as tough as wire.
i used to use original stren but last summer i switched to the P-line and it was a wise choice. i also have a few reels with triliene and it seems to work well to.
Big game in Photochromic...
I am going to try Sufix the new fire orange. I'll post how it does. As for now I am using CXX it's OK but seems to dig more than I care for on hook sets and hangups. The sufix had great reviews I guess we'll see soon.
Stoner
Stoner, Thats new sufix orange is JUNK....... I used it at dale hollow 1 time and took it off my reels. I spooled up two reels with it and well its not good around rock. Its just like fireline, it does not do good around rock. I broke off three fish on the orange sufix and then I went back to P-Line... P-Line is the way to go. Its so stong you dont have to go above 12lb test. The only problem with p-line is its got a little too much memory. You can fix that by spraying some kvd line and lure conditioner on it then stretching your line off you reel by tying to a fence or something. Then wind it back in with your finger tight on the line while you reel. just my 2 cents worth..... tightlines eveyone
p-line is the best by far.
