Found a big bass today...

Found the hideout for a nice bass today but I spooked him really bad with the trolling motor. Didn't see him until the last second and he bolted. He came right back in and I threw everything at him and he just kept leaving. I am going to have to go back for him and try a trick worm on him... just from a little farther away this time... haha He must have been at least 8 lbs! Thought he was a grass carp at first.

Noticed you were from newburgh, bein from evansville i was kinda curious where you were fishin. You dont have to say exactly i was just wondering if you saw him at a local pit or something

Yeah I have had decent luck bass fishing at the big pits at Bluegrass lately considering it being the middle of summer... Nothing really big but a lot of fairly decent 1.5-2 pounders. You have to have a boat to really fish them though because of all the weeds surrounding the pits. I will post a pic of him on here if I get him with all the details... lol
