Licking river at Falmouth Ky.

Years ago I remember fishing below a low rise dam on the river at Falmouth.
We did real good on Bass and channel cats from the bank.
Anyone familar with this area, is the dam still there?

Haven't fished there for a few years but the dam is still there as far as I know. Should hold plenty of cats and a few bass as well.

went there tonight.....river was up a lil bit & current was moving fast.

my buddy caught a 7 pound flathead & another buddy caught a bass.

Up this way we call that spot the " spillway "

Yes it is still there. It is the south fork of the licking river. I have caught some good sm and redeyes, and drum from there.

Can anyone tell me directions to this spillway. I live in northern kentucky and am trying to get my kids hooked on fishing. Right now its about how many you catch instead of what you catch.
