Rob my family and I were with my mom when she had cancer and we stayed by her to the end. And I can tell you after your mother is gone you will not regret one minute of all the love and compassion that you give her. Death is a hard thing but it is something that we all will have to face soon enough. I have read some of the posting and it looks like there are a lot of prayers going up for your mother. Might be something you want to let her know, she will probably like that. God Bless
