    Question Jointed vs. Solid Lures

If you have a choice in fishing a similar lure and the only difference was one had a jointed tail section and the other did not; which do you think is more effective. I am looking at some and the price difference is $.50 more for the jointed lures.

My experience is with solid (non-jointed) lures and the little experience I have with jointed lures really is not one that shows much improvement in getting bites.

Thumbs up Re: Jointed vs. Solid Lures

the only difference I have noticed is that the jointed lures can be fished slower. Non-jointed work best for me for trolling and when using a medium to fast retrieve. Jointed will out perform when working it real slow (like winter fishing or topwater). Hope this helps a little. I would get a couple of each and try them side by side.
