    Re: "Progressive Insurance" Repost...Please read

My posts are almost as long and sometimes longer than the one below. But I have been working on my writing skills and trying to use more paragraphs. They make a long post much easier to read. English was not my most favorite subject so I have much to learn about writing skills still.

But it would sure be nice to read that the guy that started this thread was finally helped out and the insurance company paid him some money to fix his boat.

Until that happens I would not want to purchase boat insurance from this company. But that's just me. My boat is so old that it's eaier to run without boat insurance. It would cost me way too much to buy enough ensurance to replace my boat if it were to sink. Over the last 30 years the money that I saved by not insuraning my boat could be used to buy me two new boats. And if the policy has some silly clause like "wear and tear" which could obsolve almost any claim then buying that type of policy would not be something that I would even consider.

Most policies are written by the companies lawyers and are not IMHO designed to be fully understood by those that purchase the policy unless they consult with a good lawyer before they sign on the dotted line.

I for one am glad that this thread was started so that the rest of us can learn from this guys mistake.

[QUOTE=Jabbo;333083]I just wanted to set a couple of things straight. Yes I am a Progressive Adjuster. I am a Senior Multiline adjuster which basically means that I handle claims for anything that we insure as well as some fixed property.
