Congrats to Keith Monson

Keith Monson of Burgin Ky just made his 1st top ten in the FLW Tour. on the Detroit river. All of us that know him or had the honor to fish with him,,, respond with a Big Ol Congrats!!!!!!

Thats awesome to see him do that well. I also live in Burgin. I havn't had the priveledge of fishing with him yet but I think he will be climbing the ladder into the top spot sooner than everyone thinks. He's that good and definately puts in the time on the water.

I'm also born and raised in burgin but since moved to work in Louisville. I have had the privilage to fish with him many times, even bought one of his boats.

Way to go Keith, also a big shout out to Tim McDonald from Lexington who finished in 11th one spot outside the cut... Two from Kentucky in the top 11 is pretty cool.

Keith is a great guy and a pleasure to be around. I had the opportunity to fish with Keith during practice for the Red Man All-American around 1998 or '99 on the Mississippi River in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. It was a great time.
