10 inch Blue Fleck and Red Shad Powerbait. Stay away from any tournament strength baits
I think Charmers are the best. I really like thier new gator tail, but their paddle tail is hard to beat. If you get down to the Ky Lake area, try out some Todali tackle's ribbon tail.
I am about to bust I want to head west to Ky Lake. It has been what seems forever since I have been down that way. At least 10 years. Work family military alot of different things caused me to lay down the fishing gear for awhile but IM BACKKKK!!!! Thanks again all. Gonna dig deep this weekend and fish an am tourney and then a pm tourney the same day. Need all the help I can get. Been puttin bass in the bag but not enough to win the $$.
I will second the Charmers. They are soft and have the smell of garlic---which I feel helps a little more then the regular plastic smell. KY Lake area is the only place I have seen them, but they do have a small website. The company is out of Indiana. Do a search for Charmer baits!
Most all big worms are created equal the only difference in the ones I use is they either have a curly tail or a tear drop tail and you can't ever go wrong with plum or cranapple.
