Cannelton Stripers

Striper fishing at the dam is picking up. The early morning bite is good on topwater baits. Caught several this morning ranging from about 4lb to 6.5. Most were stripers with some hybrids. As soon as the sun hit the water the topwater bite was history. Did stay around and picked up a few more on jigs.

Never been there so I have to ask a dumb question...but do you fish from the bank or a boat?

i put in at hallsville head up river maybe a 3/4 of a mile at times u just cant bet it. highway us 60 will take u to hallsville
