Are you talking about stripes or whites? Either way, I've seen some fishing reports on www.kentuckylake.com showing where there's some guides catching them pretty good. Dave Stewart (local bass guide) might have some advice for ya. He's strickly a bass guide but talks to alot of people and would know what to look for when stripe fishing.
