I don't use braid on anything except my flipping sticks and FNF rods just for the simple reason that until somebody shows me absolute 100% proof that it does not damage the guides on my rods or reels then Flourocarbon for me. As far as the night glow to take away the invisibility properties, it only glows above the water line and needs the blacklight to accomplish this. I am not a line expert but the very last reason that Bobby said about seeing a blue streak coming towards you when they knock slack in your line, is the number one reason I want a Flourescent Flourocarbon. I can feel the bite better with Flourocarbon plus feel the bottom better and have no problem feeling a tick or tug but it is the bite that the fish gently takes the bait then comes towards the boat is the hardest to feel with a non-flourescent line at night.
