Maybe I got this because I bought two fishing licenses this year. My first one at Backwaters...my second one at Sportsman's Warehouse after donating my first one to "The River Gods"...along with my credit cards, driver's license, and anything else that proves "I is who I is" to Johnny Law.

OR, maybe some wildlife officer saw my last fishing trip and felt sorry for me...thought I needed a few pointers...a lifetime token for the angling short-bus, so to speak...

Ether way, this must have just been a sympathy gift. That's probably what it is.

Maybe it's a consolation prize for not realizing you do not need to buy two licenses if you lose yours. You just attest you lost yours and they send you another. Furthermore, it's really just tied to your SSN or Driver's license so you can pretty much give them those numbers if stopped and they can verify you have a license.

Yeah, I know...I lost it on a Sunday and had a fishing trip planned Monday night. You can fill out a form deal and sent it to Frankfort to replace a lost license for 10 bucks I think. I just bought a new one...it was easier.
