Rough River

Anyone fished Rough River lately. I am heading down there this weekend. I don't think I'll have but a few hours Sat and Sun morning, but was hoping for some pointers. I would like to catch some largemouth or hybrids.

Good luck getting any info. on the bass, the Fiddlers Festival tourney is this sat night. As far as the stripers, just watch for the jumps around the island. I am leaving tomorrow to go down there with the family & I will be down there until next Sun. Good Luck.

Caught a few hybrids in Cave creek trolling. We also caught a few bass on shad raps and the Gitzit Shad. My six year old caught his biggest bass so far. A skinny 15 1/2 incher. Bass came out of 25 ft. deep ledge. He went crazy. And of course we caught bluegill by the dozens.
