I have not caught many of these Walleye creatures and only have one opinion. If they did not taste GOOD REAL GOOD DELICIOUSLY GOOD DARN GOOD, there would be no need for these creatures to swim. The few that I have caught fought about as hard as a wet noodle. An occasional head shake, ugly pre-historic eyes that are down right hiddious (sp), and just flat out UGLY. This all being said, I SURE DO WISH I COULD LEARN TO CATCH MORE OF THEM. YUM YUM YUMMY YUM!!!! Somebody heat up the deep fryer and break out the coleslaw. No need for tarter sauce or ketchup on these tasty swimming beast. I do know of a certain person that I will not mention his name (Steve Headrick) that went out in May at Dale Hollow and they caught 20 a night every night for 10 straight nights and he says he has to duct tape his freezer lid closed for it is buldging at the seams. I told him when his freezer comes up missing that I was completely innocent and had nothing to do with the theft.
