    A Great Big Catch!!

    FROM TODAY'S COURIER JOURNAL:

"Bob Greene of Hallowell (Maine) says he heard what he thougjht was a bird early Thursday as he was having his morning coffee. He then realized there was a man bobbing in the Kennebec River.

He says a 911 Dispatcher told him to throw something to the man. He snagged the man's shirt with a fishing lure and reeled him in.

The rescued man is in critical condition in a Portland Hospital"

Now, that had to be some accurate casting, to have caught the man's shirt and not the man himself!!

I would think that even if the bait snagged him anywhere the guy would be alive. A hook wound or drowning and I'll take the wound any day. Cool story

18Stratos, I agree, either way that was quick thinking on his part. I wonder what pound test line he was using--maybe he could give an endorsement to the manufacturer!!
